This beautiful frontispiece or carpet page comes from Prince Baysunghur's Anthology of Wise Sayings and it dates back to 1430, which is the Timurid Islamic period. It is though that it was produced in Herat, Afghanistan.
Learning this detailed page will help you understand the basics of carpet pages and the art of Islamic illumination. We will reproduce this gorgeous page with all the elements that are within it from the borders
The fee is for all four sessions, recordings and pdfs. All sessions will be recorded and you will get access to all sessions for a whole year via this website.
