Persian Miniature and Coping Work from History with Anahita Alavi
Anahita is an Iranian artist working on Persian miniature painting and Islamic Illumination in a very traditional style. She has an MA in Art Studies from fine arts University of Tehran and another MA in Art and Architecture of Islamic Middle East from SOAS. She used to teach Persian Miniature and Islamic Illumination in Payame Nur University of Tehran and a number of schools and institutes in Iran. After coming to the UK, She started running courses on Persian miniature and Islamic Illumination in London, mostly at SOAS.
